Vanilla Frosting

This frosting uses real vanilla bean, giving it intense vanilla flavor. I do not recommend use of vegan butter often so make sure you reserve this recipe for a truly special occasion!

Vanilla Frosting
  • ⅓ cup Vegan Butter, I like Earth Balance
  • 2-2½ cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Vanilla Bean*
  • Splash of Almond Milk, I add one Tablespoon then another if it didn't thin out enough
  1. Beat the butter and slowly mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla
  2. Add the almond milk until you reach desired consistency, if it thins too much add more sugar
*Split one vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the inside
